Refund Policy

1. Our Commitment
At Serenity BeautyNZ, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
2. Returns
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it
- In the original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
3. Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Opened skincare or beauty products
- Products marked as final sale
- Gift cards
4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact us at serenity_beauty@outlook.co.nz with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization if applicable.
5. Return Shipping
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company (it may take some time before your refund is officially posted)
- Contact your bank
- If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at serenity_beauty@outlook.co.nz
8. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, contact us at serenity_beauty@outlook.co.nz.
9. Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your order upon reception. If you receive a defective, damaged, or wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
10. Consumer Guarantees Act
This policy does not affect your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
